The car has benefited from a few solid hours this week but that engine is sooo detailed...
almost as bad as a train undercarriage..

Engine work
sunday.. no comms from Warwick so I guessed our companionable drawing sessions are suspended. At least until further notice..
so I watched the wet British GP qualifying plus the GP3 race and then nearly gave myself a heart attack chopping a climbing vine from over the front fence.. then out for the usual Jetty lunch and coffee plus a small walk on Petone beach and back to attack the Hulme..
Ive managed to outline the lower engine area in black and thats good progress..
Sold another ebay print today too... nice surprise.

blacks aint blacks
another hours work...
the black bottom looks just black yes? but its actually layers of 4 colours, black, juniper green, dark brown and orange yellow.. Pity the camera shows just black (plus a little reflected shine) but the print will show it!

Healey Duo
Just received the Kyosho Austin Healey 3000LM today. super 1/18th diecast. Shown here with my older revell Austin Healey Bugeye model. A right pair and very nice addition to the collection.

slowly she goes boys
slow cold sunday... no comms from warwick so assumed no drawing and took Anthea out for a coffee at The Jetty and a walk on Petone beach. Afternoon spent sorting Richards Trades out and various other bits and pieces so very little drawing. Forced myself to do about an hour from 7:30 tho and more or less started some greening of the car. I think this one will take a while......
