once again weve not drawn together on a sunday, but this time its my fault as I have to be here for the wife.
But I got a bit of the new Hulme done.. very satisfying but mind boggling-ly delicate stuff.

Hulme again hulme again...
Couldnt resist starting this pic of Denny at Monaco 1967.
The aspect is so like my 1970 Mclaren pic that they will make a great set.
Wife is back home after just 1 night in hospital, bit dopey and sore but recovering well.

Jaguar
Anthea in hospital for ear op as I type...hope all is well... came home via the Melling Station cafe and noted warwick entrepreneurial efforts in displaying 9 of his prints under glass on the cafe tables.. Very cool..
Just picked up a brilliant new 1:18 diecast model. The Bob Jane Aussie icon racing Mk II Jaguar
Started next drawing... another Hulme pic but this time in 1967 Brabham... should be a companion piece to my M14 Mclaren work.

on again, off again
Turned up at Warwicks for a long delayed Sunday session but Id missed an email half an hour before and found Warwick was catching up with his son ( also long delayed) so disappointed but totally understand..
So I took wifey out for coffee at the Jetty instead and then came back and finished the Subaru.
Good couple of weeks for sales.. maybe this one will work as well..

one down, one to go
finished the F5000 March commission, Commissioner ( the racing driver shown) is happy so have printed 10 prints and packaged it all up to go to him. Quite a bit of last minute tweaking and an interesting note from him in that Ive used two reference photos that mismatch if you know what to look for... ie: dry slick tyres yet wet weather racing glasses!! apparently it will be a talking point and I think it better shows him as a 'personality' anyway.
so now onto the Possum Bourne Subaru again. Worked a bit on the side door last evening. nearly there actually.. should only be a couple more hours!

model miscellany
been spending queens birthday monday fixing some old models and other odd jobs.
The models are a Mclaren M8F by polistil that needed some chrome repainting and a rollbar fixing and fitting,
A diecast Geebee that needed some painting to get a more accurate colour scheme (good wee model for noting much actually) and the Pucara getting some final touches.
thought Id better put up something as drawing is lagging somewhat. havnt been to warwicks for 3 weeks now... and he's posted nowt so I might as well put up summat. :)
still, the rest of the week off and the weather is setting in so I may be excused gardening duties and can get on with the art...
